Our djembes are of superior quality. We are not mass importers. Ibrahima has a workshop in Senegal and one in his basement in Brooklyn, where the drums are made. He uses shells handcrafted in Dakar, Senegal and made of Dimba wood. The djembes are also built with high quality steel rings, non-stretch nylon cord, and female goat skin. Ibrahima tunes each and every drum himself to match each persons preference before selling it. He backs his drums 100%.
